another year of thanks

Just  a quick pop-in on this weekend of Thanksgiving.  I am so thankful for you, my readers.  Without you, I’d be talking to the wind.  I am certainly thankful for my family.  My entire family.  No matter how crazy, loving, forgiving and unforgiving we can all be, I am thankful for family.

I am thankful to Jesus, His sacrifice that makes a relationship with the creator possible.  I’m thankful that God allows difficult times (and there have definitely been those this year) to draw me into a deeper, more real relationship with himself.  Oh, friends, don’t underestimate the power of needing Him.

On this day of thanks, I can’t possibly explain all the things I can should and am thankful for.  Truthfully, I will likely be thankful next year for things and events that are already in the making things year.

What are you most thankful for?

Psalm 95:2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving  and extol him with music and song.

Psalm 69:30  I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.
