Lemon Ginger healing tea

Being sick is no fun.  Here’s a recipe for some healing tea, good for colds, sore throats, swelling, and allergies.  Also just the enjoy.

1 gallon of water (boiling)

3/4 cup of sliced fresh ginger

Juice of 4-5 fresh squeezed lemons

1/2 c of raw honey

*reduce water to simmer, add all ingredients.  Let simmer 15 minutes.  Enjoy warm or cold.  Refrigerate the left over tea.

My mother-in-law shared this with me.  The antioxidants in the ginger and lemon are wonderful, and it’s refreshing as well.
