Here’s what’s happening around the belly.  Yesterday was a long day.  A disappointing one.  We were released from the hospital  after hours of walking and contracting.  I went in 3cm and 50% effaced, and left 3.5cm and 70% effaced.  I slept good although not long since we got home last night around 12:30am.

Today they hurt.  The contractions that is.  Yesterday they were uncomfortable.  Today it feels terrible, but irregular.  If you don’t here from me for a while you can be confident that all is well, the kid is out :)  We can hardly wait to meet little Desmond.

I pray you all have a safe and fun Memorial weekend.  The Pioneer Women is doing an awesome photo assignment this week. “Coming Home” features our troops and their arrivals from duty.  There are some sweet and touching pictures.  Never forget what our troops and their supportive family do for us.  I am grateful.
