Finished for Mama

june 09 346I finished this scarf yesterday.  Well, last night while waiting for hubby to come home…late night of painting houses, you know.  Knitting sure does a lot for my patience while waiting for…anything really.  Something about that soft wool, the repetition, and sense of completion is soothing and peaceful.  This turquoise wool yarn may look familiar if you’ve read the previous knitting post.  Let’s just say that the hat pictured was taken apart… one of those disasters we won’t mention again, okay?

When the laundry’s piled high and the dishes don’t appeal to me …knitting…yes, knitting in the summer certainly does.  These colors together are making me wish it was a cold day in June right about now.

I am casting on for another go at knitting a hat in the round…this time with a chunky yarn.  More on this later of chorse :)
